The air purifier is equipped with an improved electrostatic HEPA filter that has a lifespan 5x longer than previous models to reduce maintenance cost. It is also the first affordable model with Daikin Streamer technology to provide an overall more competitive purification performance.
Maintenance-friendly
The eletrostatic HEPA filter is readily accessible via a simple drawer design that is located at the back, hidden from view. If opened or loose during operation, the air purifier turns off temporarily and alerts users to keep it closed in order to avoid performance issues.
Designed for small spaces
Understanding that smaller spaces tend to be more sensitive to spatial distractions, we designed the air purifier to be structurally compact for a lower footprint. By relocating the HEPA filter closer to the air outlet on top, we were also able to reduce the noise level by up to 16% compared to previous models.
Market-specific solution
By combining and reducing the number of individual parts, and standardising certain parts with other models, we were able to achieve lower manufacturing costs which helped make the product more affordable to our target users. Besides, the product also comes with ‘Haze Mode’ to solve the common pain point in SEA countries.
